The project's overall objective was to improve the standard of living of the poor people in the coastal areas of the Quang Tri. Its immediate objective was to develop the economy by improving aquaculture and protecting environment, strengthening capacity of management and beneficiaries. The expected output was to increase the income from enhanced production, constructed roads, extend electricity net, and supply water well, build schools and dormitories.
