Project Information

The project objectives are to increase the production efficiency of household-based livestock producers, reduce the environment impact of livestock production, processing and marketing, and improve food safety in livestock product supply chains (mainly meat) in selected provinces. The project would contribute to the achievement of the higher-level objective of improving the overall competitiveness of the domestic livestock production.

Complementary Information

The project's gender target focused on female ethnic minorities in training activities such as extension and veterinary. Communication activities under the project take into consideration the language given that ethnic minority women are often in a less advantaged position to have access to information and education.
