With the grant, Thmart Pong Irrigation System will be rehabilitated by PDOWRAM. The project included the rehabilitation of 3,050m of tertiary canal and the construction of a drop structure. It was hoped to reduce the annual flood damage and provide better access to the water for irrigation for around 3,188 households in the region.
