The goal of the project was to contribute to the equitable land use through the development of effective and sustainable cropping systems and to make it accessible to smallholder farmers and industrial operations.
The project had three components as follows:
Component 1: Support to Contracting Authority and Project Management
Component 2: Implementations, Outreach and Training Activities on Undercover Sowing
Component 3: Draft of Outreach Program
The total project cost was estimated at EUR 2.84 million (US$4.26 million). The French Development Agency funded EUR 2.5 million, while CIRAD financed EUR 240,000 and the Kingdom of Cambodia covered EUR 100,000.
