The project was envisioned to help the government prepare a detailed rural infrastructure sector investment proposal, including a pre-feasibility study for the whole project and detailed feasibility studies for three or four sample sub-projects, in order to contribute to the country's equitable economic growth and reduction of rural poverty through improving basic rural infrastructure within the six project provinces of the Central Region.
