The objective of the project was to expand responsible, productive, and sustainable management of forest resources by local communities to meet their needs and to stimulate development within the provinces of Siem Reap, Orddar Meanchey and Banteay Meanchey.

The programme also ensured that women and indigenous minorities benefit equitably and that gender balances in the enabling environment with regards to working conditions and access to markets and services are addressed.
