The projet aimed to reduce the vulnerability of 4,000 poorest families from soaring food prices by improving access to irrigation and agricultural inputs, building of rice seed stores, and supporting semi-urban land poor families in developing income generation activities. The project also aimed to support the capacity building of district agricultural extension workers.
