The project's overall goal was to develop sustainable rice field fishery management practices, mainly for poor aquatic resource-dependent households. It was specifically designed to help the beneficiaries understand the dynamics of rice field fisheries systems and the impacts of improved management practice, and help improve management practices of rice field fisheries systems adopted by the CFR development program.
