The project aimed to increase the income of rural families in the target group through the application of agricultural climate change resilient techniques such as integrated farming, home gardening, chicken rises and provision of women saving group in order to improve family food security; provide rural families in the target areas access to water year-round through rehabilitation of three community ponds for household consumption, home gardens and animal rising; and enhance understanding of the people in the target areas of the impacts of climate change on their livelihood and enable them to integrate the climate change priorities into the community development plan or community investment plan.
