Project Information

The project is focused on the following activities:

• Conduct of participatory inventory and resource assessment for joint conservation of coastal mangrove area
  
• Conduct of community awareness raising and education
  
• Agricultural demonstration through farmer-led extension
  
• Provision of agricultural inputs to marginal farmers
  
• Provision of grants to fishery interest groups and income generation groups
  
• Rehabilitation of mangrove ecosystem through establishment of mangrove nursery and mangrove plantation in the gap area and depleted areas
  
• Development of community water supply
  
• Creation of employment opportunities through cash for work.
