The project involves the following:

• Certified rice seed production
  
• Increase in rice production and improvement of quality grain
  
• Establishment of Farmer’s Advisory and Agricultural Testing Unit (FAATU) to support crop production, Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) and sustainable natural resource management
  
• Adoption of suitable second crops and agricultural practices.
