The overall objective of the program was to develop the production of fruit trees in Vietnam. Its immediate objective was to support farmers in developing fruit trees through building nurseries, planting fruit trees, improving mix-gardens, processing and transferring techniques of planting fruit trees for farmers
Expected outputs included the building of 5 nurseries in 5 provinces, planting of 150 ha, rebuilding of 60 ha, and training 14,000 people a day.
