The project seeks to interact with relevant stakeholders to build consensus and disseminate information so as to assist adoption and implementation of new legal provisions. It also seeks to build the capacity in Lao PDR in the area of SPS legal drafting in order to facilitate maintenance of the legal framework in response to evolving needs, and promote the use of the Phytosanitary Capacity Evaluation (PCE) tool.
