Project Information

Food START is a 4-year collaborative program seeking to enhance the contribution of root and tuber crops (RTCs) to food security in the Asia-Pacific. It consists of 3 key components:

1. Evidence gathering through site-level assessment and region-wide trends analysis;
   
2. Action research to develop and introduce RTCs innovations in large-scale national development initiatives; and
   
3. Capacity building and policy influence in RTCs for food security.
