The Regional Technical Assistance (RETA) seeks to improve the ability of communities in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Vietnam to prepare for, respond to, and recover from the negative impact of floods and droughts. The Project has prepared three separate investment projects (CAM, LAO, VIE) to provide financing for appropriate flood risk management and drought risk management interventions in each country.
The outcome of the Project is the improved ability of communities and governments to prepare for, respond to, and recover from flood and drought events. Key activities of the RETA include:
