The project focused on conflict reduction and sustainable management of fisheries resources through effective decision-making, based on appropriate information and facilitation of stakeholder dialogue.
Its immediate objectives included the generation, communication and use of quality information that enabled the development of appropriate policies and management interventions relevant to the respective needs of small-scale artisanal fisheries and larger commercial-based fisheries in four countries - Cambodia, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam.
