Project Information

The project's impact included sustained economic growth in the 10 provinces severely affected by typhoons in 2005. Key outputs included the reinstatement/rebuilding of essential infrastructure (roads, flood protection, irrigation systems and social infrastructure), and enhanced storm and flood protection provided to vulnerable areas.

Complementary Information

The project included gender strategy plan. Resettlement identification, planning, implementation, and management ensured that gender concerns were incorporated, including gender-specific consultation and information disclosure.
