The Strengthening Competitiveness of Smallholder Rubber Farmers program works toward the overall goal of achieving peaceful and secure livelihoods through sustainable rubber value chain development in a socially and politically integrated environment.
The project's first-level direct project beneficiaries include at least 12,000 women and men rubber smallholders (or 60,000 persons) in the southern townships of Mon State (Mudon, Thanpyuzayat, Ye, Mawlamyine), and in Yephyu in nothern Tanintharyi Division, who have gained secure tenure and increased their agricultural productivity and income.
